Still in St Petersburg

After the 3000km round trip to Norfolk we are back in St Petersburg, great place, but getting hotter everyday, 30+and high humidity, sounds like the Gold Coast, complete with thunder storms. We are still working on boat, have had fabricated a stainless steel support for when the mast is lowered and done a full service on the motor. Unfortunately found a broken lug on the water pump which necessitated a new pump body, another $225, then found a leak in the cooling header tank, so off it came and to the radiator shop for repair. So going to be a few more days before we set off. At least it is interesting here - we are surrounded by small ship yards & can see 6 travel lifts.
We returned the car today after a quick visit to the dentist for Dawn to repair a broken piece of tooth. We found the drivers are different on this coast, driving at 15 - 20 m over the speed limit, & cars seem to lack indicators, no speed cameras & very few cops. I haven't cooked since leaving home so we have done the whole quick food spectrum - Wendy's, Denny's, Cracker Barrel, Waffle House, Taco Bell, Bob Evans, TGI Friday, Ihop (for James) & even MacDonalds.
