More of the Overland Odyssey toward Tahoe

Mexican Flea Market at
Lubbock. Surprisingly good prices, lot of US and Mexican Goodies.

Dawn Chatting to an Alligator, making sure
she doesn't get bitten again

Want some pots, acres of them

Check these card sharks out.

My Texan Bro in law and little Sis.

The prices on these swingers
and chairs were amazing, around $300
we would have to pay double that
back home in Oz.
Visited a work in progress, combat model plane museum, belongs to
a US title holder, Bob builds all his aircraft and had just
returned from a competition in Australia. He has a 80%
flying replica of a Spitfire which will be stored here also.

Part of the Big Shed

Visited this guys grave
at Fort Sumner New
Mexico, nice little Museum
there.
The Grave

Next stop, Los Alamos, This
is where the Manhattan Project
developed the Atomic Bombs
that were dropped on Japan
to force an end to WW 2.
Area is still a very busy
scientific place. Replicas of the 2 Bombs.
So when we returned to our Hotel, bit worrying to see
the Bomb Squad parked outside.

Some of the stunning scenery as we move through Utah
back through New Mexico and into Arizona

Tourist town of Moab

Over the little hill lies Lake Tahoe.
