The outdoor bar lost its roof in a storm the week before we arrived. |
The Hotel at the Marina is being completely stripped out due to mould, 2yrs and 20 million dollars. |
On our way East, this tree growing through
roof is a novel touch, waterfront development
bit cheaper than the Hotel.

Behind us is Blue Heron, a 38
ft Marine Trader only as a Sun Deck
Tried to buy one just like it but couldn't
find a good one, that one is very nice
from Lake Ontario, New York side.

Navigate this, we travel through a lot of
waterways, swamps and native habitat;
a lot more water than land, this is part of Florida's Panhandle, which fronts onto the
Gulf of Mexico.

This is a Café with great coffee, owned
by a Venezuelan lady who left over 20yrs ago,
so she could do her own thing, not a supporter of Bernie.

At Dog Island, the jump off point
to crossing the Gulf to St Petersburg.
This house was built on what looked
like bridge pylons, to save from
Hurricanes.
